Can I use it offline?
Everything except the AI features, fresh exchange rates and sync works with no connection at all.
Yes, almost entirely.
Your subscriptions, the dashboard, the calculator, reminders and widgets all work offline, because the data is on your device rather than on a server.
A few things need a connection:
- AI receipt scanning and importing from a screenshot: the image is sent for recognition.
- The AI chats in Plan, Spending and Subscrr AI: the conversation is answered by an AI service.
- Fresh exchange rates: the last fetched rates are used until they can be refreshed. If the rates were never fetched, a built-in table stands in.
- iCloud sync: changes queue up and sync when both devices are online again.
- Service logos: they are fetched when needed, and without a connection a coloured symbol stands in for a logo that has not been loaded yet.
